1939 Pontiac Plexiglass “Ghost Car”

This car is totally transparent because of the plexiglass body. It was the first “see-through” car made in US.  “Ghost Car” traveled through country on a nationwide tour and then spent several years on display at the Smithsonian Institute.

Finally, unique car was put on the auction in 2011 in Plymouth, Michigan and it was sold for $308,000.
